Nap 50 liver

My husband has been drinking for over 50 years. He has been in and out of rehabilitation and the hospital. He drinks whiskey. Now, it seems like he hardly drinks but his stomach is swollen. He is very thin otherwise. His eyes are fluorescent yellow and his skin is yellow. He is weak and sleeps often or just sits on the couch watching TV. He can barely walk and falls down. His urine is reddish orange and brown. He wears diapers in case of accidents. He doesn't have an appetite. He hallucinates at times. I wonder if he has cirrhosis of the liver.

I keep thinking that it wouldn’t make sense for me to be diabetic. I’m in the normal weight range for my height. I eat fairly well and exercise. I am excessively thirsty at night, this has been going on for years and only seems to be getting worse. I could nap anytime of the day, which I guess means I’m fatigued. I started really wondering when I ended up with a detached retina in one eye and a torn retina in the other, I’m 29, the doc said someone my age and health had a 1:10000 chance of this happening. Next came frequent yeast infections. I’m a bit freaked out. Please advise!

Your description sounds like what I am experiencing, however, it is both my feet, could it present itself in both feet at about the same time? I recently stared a gluten free lifestyle, for health reasons. It has taken me years to figure it out but I am very sensitive to gluten.
I wonder if there is any relation to my change in diet and the onset of my painful feet? I excersice 5 days a week and run, not long distance. My feet feel better when elevated. I am 59, noticing lots of changes with my body in the past coup,e of years, when my feet started hurting I wrote it off as another aging issue but now I am not so sure.
Thanks for your help and for the information above.
Debbie

I think it is great to have everyone commenting on this diet. I just started the diet yesterday and I already see I am going to have a hard time giving up a few things, mainly sugar. Not that I eat sugar all the time. I take people to lunch for my job so eating out and traveling is going to be hard on this diet as where will I get my juice in the morning(I have to say 2 days on the fresh juice and I kind of like it) the telling sign will be afternoons and do I experience the need for a nap around 1-3 pm. Oh well I just wanted to say good luck to everyone and keep sharing as I see this as a Journey to a new me and I should be able to make it 8 weeks without a steak, damn I love steak.
